Buzz, Press and Testimonials about the DogPause Bowl

It works! It made them slow down...
"The bowls work! Our dogs are both cocker-mix rescue dogs and tend to gulp their food. It definitely slows down their eating so they need to focus on finishing their own meals, not trying to gobble up each others."
Lisa, Seattle, WA

So simple... So effective...
"We really liked it. After timing Schotzie, we have noticed that it does increase her eating time by at least 30%, and we're actually very amazed that something so simple as a re-designed dog dish could be so effective at slowing down her eating, because she usually wolfs supper down and breakfast down. The one thing we've noticed because of that is that she doesn't walk around belching quite so much, which we appreciate, and think that probably is an indication that her digestion is working better. So, we love the dish and we've been telling other people about it!"

As a vet, I recommend this product...
When I first saw DogPause, my reaction was, "It is so simple... It works." As a vet, I like to see products that are harmless, natural and extremely effective in promoting canine health. DogPause can decrease canine anxiety, reduce indigestion, and be an important part of an overall strategy to reduce the risk of obesity. DogPause works by simply prohibiting dogs from taking large bites of food -- it forces them to chew, pause and digest. This allows the dog to literally slow down and relax during feeding time. DogPause is a natural and cost effective way to prevent inhalation eating and promotes positive eating behavior. I recommend DogPause to my clients that have fast-eating dogs, and I suggest they try the bowl for at least five feedings. Some dogs have such bad eating habits that they need a few feedings with the bowl to re-learn how to eat at a more normal pace.

Promotes healthy eating habits...
"Eating issues aren't just human problems-they affect dogs as well. Bad eating habits are just as common with our canine 'friends' as they are with people, and those bad habits are just as unhealthy. I work with people to help them change their eating habits and I've become a fan of what the DogPause dogbowl can do for dogs. My dog, Tater was a 'gulper" and ate too fast. I am impressed with how DogPause slowed Tater down. I think it's the perfect bowl for us-even more so as we plan to get a new puppy this summer, which will only heighten the competition for food! I strongly recommend the DogPause bowl to any dog owner who wants to develop and promote healthy eating habits for their dog"

It's so cute!!
"My dog isn't a particularly fast eater, but this is the cutest dogbowl I've ever seen. We love the bowl!"
Sharlene, Edwards, CO

No more throwing up after a meal!
We have two dogs- Chloe,a Springer who has had ongoing weight issues, and Austin, a German Shorthair who tends to gulp down food so quickly that he regurgitates it back up, undigested. DogPause has helped both dogs tremendously with their issues by slowing down their eating patterns. We have not had a single incident where Austin has been sick after using DogPause, and Chloe, with the help of a stricter diet, has lost weight and doesn't seem to be as hungry in-between her meals. Maybe the same advice to dieting applies to dogs as it does to humans: slow down, enjoy each bite and you will feel fuller!

A natural way to slow down...
"I didn't know there was a natural way to slow Gracie down from eating her food in ONE gulp and prevent her from choking! I love this bowl. She has less anxiety during feeding time, no choking and no throwing up. She even leaves food in her bowl now for later, which is a miracle in itself. It looks cute and is healthier! There is no going back - she is a DogPause dog now!"
Noel, Denver, CO

Great for BIG DOGS... Perfect for portion control...
"This is a great product. We have a 130 lb. Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and before we tried the DogPause, he inhaled his food without hardly chewing. Now, it's great to watch him eat -- the bowl makes him eat much slower, and you can actually hear him chewing all his food. Also as an unexpected benefit -- this bowl is great in helping us monitor how much he eats -- the four compartments are the perfect size for the amount our vet has recommended, and this makes it really easy for us to control his portions. I'd recommend DogPause to anyone with a big dog."
Ashley, Evergreen, CO

Gentler... Kinder... Civilized...
"I watch the family dog eat from this and realize DogPause is converting our dog from an uncivilized beast at dining time...to a gentler....and I am convinced healthier... family pet!"
Doc, Chicago, IL

It's good for him...
"Reno loves his new DogPause bowl! OK, that's not exactly true. He thinks it's curious. WE love the bowl because it's slowing him down at eating time, and that's good for him. We had tried a competitor's bowl to slow him down, but he was freaked out by it and it just looked ugly. Now, if only DogPause could come up with something to slow down my 2nd and 4th grade boys at feeding time!" Mitch, Evergreen, CO

Great for all large breeds...
"DogPause is extremely valuable to all types of dogs, and is very important with their overall health. My 140-pound Mastiff is prone to more hip and joint concerns, in addition to their digestive process. All large breeds should be provided with a safe and efficient dog bowl such as the Dog Pause." Scott, Scottsdale BARK

Takes longer...
"What they normally wolf down in a minute took one dog 3 minutes and the other 5 minutes!"
Frank, Austin, TX

Brilliant!!! Can you make one for my husband???
"First time I saw the DogPause bowl, I said "BRILLIANT!"... I'm so much happier watching my lab eat more slowly - I know it's better for him.... can you make a bowl for my husband?"
